i've finally decided to blog after being on hiatus... i guess it was due to sheer laziness....
i just came back yesterday at 1am...it was such a long journey back my butt ached...
so i left on 26th at abt 10am..we had lunch at malacca...we ate chicken rice ball! then we travelled till johor bahru... we reached the hotel at abt 5 or 6 in the evening... i went on this trip with jacqueline and her family... the plan was to stay at the hotel just b4 the bridge 2 s'pore n we wud travel by car 2 s'pore...
the hotel has a mall joined 2 it so we walked ard after resting for a bit in our rooms... then we ate dinner at handlebar... food was yummylicious! jac's dad warned me beforehand that we're supposedly on an eating holiday n i shud be prepared..lol... after dinner it was too late 2 walk ard so we retreated back to our rooms
the view from our rooms...its the inside of the hotelwe had fried baby squids for supper(so gonna gain weight..) n after dat we ate cup noodles...i was full so i told jac i'll juz share wif her... n her bro gave me mint choc(who can resist??) gosh i'm seriously gonna turn into a fat pig...
the next day, we had breakfast buffet at a restaurant in the hotel....the food wasnt spectacular.... just barely edible to me..hehe...mayb i'm too pampered... after that we went swimming at the hotel pool...it was so freaking cold!!! like ice water!!! thats cuz its been raining in jb lately...so we swam...more like played n laze ard...haha....

after that we went 2 s'pore...it rained!!! it was so sad... BUT a little rain is not gonna stop me from shopping rite?? so we walked in the rain...i mean we werent the only ones anyway...we shopped ard orchard road!we realised dat singaporeans really follow the rules...when we wanted 2 get across to a particular store...we had to walked a lot further down...where there was proper traffic light n the zebra stripes thingys to cross the road! n of cuz we have 2 walked back up to the store... if u dun get wat i mean..juz imagine doing an extremely unnecessary u-turn... b4 we started shopping we had a sausage set for lunch/tea... i tink it was worth the money.. the sausage was the fat kind with the intestine wrapping...nice!we had lunch at Lei's Garden with jac's dad's frens... it was some expensive chinese restaurant... jac dad joked dat he cant afford it so sumbody else has to pay... hahawe had shark fin soup! not the usual shreaded kind... but REAL PIECES OF shark fins!! yum!! i liked the dessert too! we had mango pamelo and almond cream....delicious!!!
so yeah...the dinner was ard 695 sing dollars...so times 2.33 to get m'sian ringgit....but it doesnt matter...i'm not the 1 paying! after dinner they had a little supper but i wasnt interested...i was too tired from both eating n walking...3rd n last day we had breakfast n left for singapore after checking out of the hotel...it was raining n traffic was terrible! it took so loonnngggg.....and yeah we had 2 walked in the rain again bcuz it was raining in s'pore AGAIN!!! this time ard we were more daring so jac n i did some illegal crossing...haha...singaporeans hardly cross the roads whenever they feel like it like in m'siai was also amused by the number of rubbish bins...we were walking n i kept seeing the green bins...so i laffed n told jac....her reaction was 'oh ya hor...look theres another one....n theres another b4 that!!' and no there were no rubbish piles under signs that says 'do not litter' like in m'sia...haha..i guess it bcoz in s'pore u get fined for almost everything!jac: oh yea we cant eat chewing gum riteme: y? r u eating??jac: no...wanted to...den realised dat i'm in singapore..(laughing) being in s'pore really makes u more self-desciplined no?i bet if anybody eavesdropped on us they can tell immediately that we're not from here...which was y i found it strange that sum1 actually asked ME for directions!! lol.... so embarassing to say i dunno...hope the guy didnt think i was being rude on purpose...so we did a bit of shopping on both days... but it was so difficult!! especially when ur mind keeps converting sing dollars into ringgit n u realise that its not worth it! me: (staring at a handbag) are u really worth it?? ARE YOU????jac: can u pls stop talking 2 the handbag....that was when i realised i was losing it... i told jac beforehand that we were on a mission...n i wont leave s'pore empty-handed bcuz i wud juz DIE out of regretso of course i came home wif stuff!!!all in all... i managed 2 get my hands on 3 bags, (YES 3 n dun ask me y! i dunno y i did that! i dun even need 3 bags...GAHH) 1 purse, 2 tops, 1 dunno wat 2 call it...umm decorative item?, stationary( yes i noe i'm weird), n a big bar of choc(which resulted in my mum sayin: our hse got too much chocs adi!!!)....of course this list is from shopping in both s'pore n the hotel mall(duty-free!!cudn resist!)..if it were all fr s'pore i wud be seriously dead broke!!ok i'm tired so thats all 4 now... wanted 2 write more but i'll spare u...lots of love!!!
i can totally relate to the sign!!! i likey de sign very muchie!2007 is coming!!!!
