The ever famous Yarra river. Why do all cities in Australia have a river? In Brisbane, you've got Brisbane river; in Melbourne, you've got Yarra river; in Sydney, although no river, but you've got Harbour. XD.
The very famous Melbourne University
Waterfall in the Grambiens National Park or something? sorry I'm not sure because I've never been there.
Mt. Buller, the place I'm so dying to go to because there is SNOW there!!! S-N-O-W!!! SIGH....I want to go there, I want to play with snow, I want to experience snow, I want to go skiing!!! Why there is no snow in Brisbane, stupid city...LOL..

Okay, enough of Melbourne's pictures, I will come back with more end of this year when I visit Melbourne! Now, let's move on to the day I depart from Brisbane to Sydney, first time flying with Virgin Blue.
Then we were just lazing in our dear host, Pizza Chow's place until dinner time. We took a walk around The University of Sydney and I was amazed at the beauty of their buildings!!
This is the medical building.

After having the good game, we were all tired and hungry, so we went to Hawken Drive for lunch. Before that, we brought Fish around UQ and we chilled by UQ lake for a while too. Yes, we have a nice lake in uni. XD..

We just had to do this...
Lunch time, we had Jap again...
why always take picture like this....T___T..
I can't remember what were we doing.....>.<..
Then we walked home after lunch, on the way, we just have to do this...I have never take pic with it even I'm here for one whole semester!! LOL..
Proud to be UQ-ians....XD...
Then we stopped by Wei Jien's house for a while....the back of his apartment is just beside the river....scenic view...

While waiting for Wei Jien to take a shower and all, Fish was playing with the keyboard in his place and Khai Chin and I fell asleep on the couch. By the time we woke up, it was already 4pm. So it was back to my place to prepare dinner.Dinner time!!!! yay!!
Over the dinner, we were discussing what to do after dinner. Some suggested DOTA, some suggested POKER, some suggested MOVIE....and we came to no conclusion in the end. Suddenly, Khai Chin was saying, let's go watch Hancock!!! That instant, the other 3 of us agree to the suggestion immediately. We were all so spontaneous and need excitement for the night, thinking that a late night movie will be a great idea...since we will feel bored at home..All 3 of us were like 'OK!! Let's go now!!!'...and we were off to check the time for the movie in Southbank. Movie was at 9.30pm and we had to leave around 8.30pm using Citycat. The time was around 8pm when we were discussing over the dining table. We quickly finish off our dinner, washed up the dishes and dashed out for our movie night!!! It was real fun!!!
Chilly wind...
Reach Southbank and shocked to see so many people in the cinema. Worse still, tickets for Hancock were all sold out!!! So, we settled for Get Smart instead.
In cinema...
The movie was great, we laughed so hard from the beginning to the end...but we did fell asleep in between, not because of the movie, it was due to the tiring badminton session we had earlier...The movie ended around 11.30pm and we went home after that.
Finally finish all the posts on Fish's visit to Brissy. I'm off to Sydney on Friday, 11th July and will be back one week later. SIGH....semester 2 is starting sooooo sooon...T___T...time flies...I dread starting second semester, I don't know what awaits me....so scary!! T___T...I dread going to Uni, can I just find a rich guy and marry him and be happily ever after? wtf...dreaming again.. XD...
Us waiting patiently for the bus.....huhuhu...we were all so hungry by that time..
Finally, we reached our destination...
outside the restaurant...
We went in the restaurant and saw many people there.....it was lunch time so that explains...
We waited for a while before we get seats....so while waiting we got the chance to take pics around...
The king crab that looked really dumb to me...LOL
Giant Lobster....*slurps* I want to eat you up!!! if only I have the money..T__T
We ordered a lot of dim sum to fill up our hungry self...sigh... i miss the egg tart there....and the dim sum there, char siew pau....>.<..Fish promised to bring us for dim sum in Sydney..XD....yay!
We gobbled down everything in just a few minutes...XD..
After fillling up with dim sum, we went for dessert nearby for the famous tau fu fa...XD...
On one side, they have mango sago and peanut tau fu fa...
on the other, we both had the same thing, tau fu fa + red bean + tang yuen (glutinous riceball)..it was two thumbs up!!
Us four...
Then we went to buy the ingredients needed for dinner the next day.

Then it was back to city, brought fish to Anzac Square to take some pics...

Then we have to rush home as Fish has a dinner to attend...so we took the Citycat to avoid the peak hour traffic...
Dinner was only between me and Khai Chin....so I decided to make Shepherd's Pie while she baked yumm yumm chocolate mud cake....XD...
Fish in action, Men's Double...his partner, Steven is a really funny guy...XD...
Victoria's players are toooo strong!!!
From NSW, fish and his team mates...L-R: Dianne, Fish, Steven, Christine
Men in action...
The supporters...LOL...
The tournament ended around 6pm and Fish decided to cook dinner for me because he felt bad for me to stay watching the tournament one whole day.....XD....So we went to Coles to get the ingredients needed to make lasagna....The base...
We finished dinner around 10pm and had ice-cream as dessert....yumm yumm....Fish went to bed very early as he must be really exhausted after that badminton tournament. He won 2nd place for Men's double by the way. XD...That pretty much sums up our day.
Yes I'm in my thick winter jacket...LOL...not necessary to use it though...XD..
night view....
The next day, we have plans to bring him around. We woke up around 8-ish and then went to Southbank for breaky, breaky by the riverside is really very enjoyable. I'm lazy for words today, so let the pictures do the talking.
We travel using Citycat....
To Southbank...
Took pics while on the ferry
Along the river....

More pics while walking around Southbank park...
The artificial beach with life guards and all....XD..
Breaky time....
Yumm yumm breaky....(wtf why i look so emo and ugly here...)
right after breaky, we went for cold rock....yumm yumm again....I have cravings for ice-cream now...T___T
Continue walking around Southbank....

And we walked back to the city to continue exploring...XD...
And we went to the Tourist infomation centre to check out places to visit...and then fish decided to go to the nearest botanical garden located 15 minutes walking distance from the city...we were lazy to walk so we jumped on Citycat and stopped at QUT and chill in the garden where we can see many live show, ie live kissing show..LOL
We chatted and camwhore a bit on the grass as the weather that day was awesome....
Our student ID!!!! 3 from UQ and 1 from Uni of Sydney...
More nice view to take pic...
We even take a short walk in QUT as well as the nice Goodwill bridge, which links Southbank Parklands with QUT Garden Points

Lunch was back in the city, we were choosing between Jap and Korean food. Unfortunately, korean restaurant was closed that time, so we went for Jap.
Then it was yum cha session at some tea shop...

Dinner was at Sunnybank, we had Korean seafood steamboat....yumm yumm....
After dinner, headed to Mt-Cootha to enjoy the night breeze and the night view...

Met her cute friend, Betty from China and we were off to China Town for some really yummy lunch. *drools* Too bad, no pictures on food, restaurant and even Queenie and her gang of friends from Melbourne because I guess we were too shy. LOL. I'm anti-social ok. XD.
After lunch, we decided to walk back to the city as it helps to digest our lunch, so we were practically walking and sight-seeing, as well as thinking what to do next. XD. We have no plans in mind, and Queenie and her friends suggested to go for coffee. We have to leave early to meet up with another friend before heading back to Agnes' house. I have been visiting her house so often last week, sigh, now I'm starting to miss her so much. She's having fun in Melbourne and Adelaide I think. >.<. Well, we headed back to her apartment and since we were too full for dinner, we settled for some cherries and ice-cream while watching Perfume: The Story of the Murderer. After movie, I was actually really lazy to go back home as it was around 9pm and I thought of just staying over at her place. But, no, I did not bring along my stuffs, so no choice. Nevertheless, she invited me to sleep over at her place the next day as she is home alone.
So, on Saturday morning, I woke up around 10am and a friend asked me for lunch. We went to the korean restaurant in the city where I had my meal with Agnes few days ago. Food was yummilicious and all. After lunch, I decided to walk around the city as it was having massive sales that time. The shopaholic in me bought a new pair of sandals, cardi and some shirts. T___T. I've spent too much in June and July. So broke, no money, no honey. *sobs*..After satisfying myself with some shopping, I went to woolies to get some ingredients needed to make Shepherd's Pie with Agnes at night.
Boiling the potatoes...
The base of the pie.....Turkey minced+chopped onions+parsley+corns and peas+chicken stock+Worcestershire sauce+tomato paste
Agnes the big chef...
Shepherd's Pie on the way....
Ready to be send into the oven to bake for 20 minutes or so...
Lovely pie coated with heaps of Mozzarella Cheese...YUM YUMMMM....
Done, ta-daaa!!! Looks good yea? Taste even better. XD.We had dinner and watch P2, the horror movie followed by One Litre of Tears in the comfy living room with heater on. *loves*
As we were bored and tired, she went to bed around 11 plus and I continue watching poker on TV until 1am and slept on the couch in the living room. That's the end of my Saturday? Hell, NO, I was bloody woken up by the fire alarm at 3am, and I got up and asked Agnes whether we have to evacuate and we both decided to ignore the fire alarm and continue sleeping. But the fire warning kept going off saying 'There is a fire, please evacuate using the nearest fire exit,' with the ever annoying alarming sound, how am I going to sleep in peace. Agnes even told me that she thought her apartment was on fire because she can hear very loud alarm coming from her room's detector. She thought the heater in the living room was on fire. LOL. Luckily it's not. XD. After like 20 minutes, it was finally back to quiet night and I went back to my dream land right after.
Sunday morning, I set my alarm on my mobile to 10am and I heard Agnes getting up around 9-ish. I was too lazy to get up and decided to off my mobile's alarm and sleep until she wakes me up. She finally woke me up around 11-ish by calling my mobile from her room. She thought that it will be more fun this way. LOL. Funny girl. So, we continue watching One Litre of Tears and ate the leftover pie as lunch, at the same time, thinking of what to do for our rest of the day. We stayed at home watching One Litre of Tears until her friend called her to get a cake from the city. Good excuse to go out. LOL. We immediately change and went to the city as it was a Sunday and the shops closed pretty early. Since it was her friend's birthday that day, she was thinking of how to surprise her friend and all.
The initial plan was to call the birthday girl, Jain over telling Jain that Agnes was locked out of her room and needs help. Since the apartment is double storey, when the birthday girl comes, we will lead her up to the living room with lighted candles in the living room with the cake and sort of give Jain a surprise. But we waited until 8.30pm and we got so tired of waiting and just simply asked Jain over. Booohooo, there goes the surprise planned initially.
